30th Celebration: Every Product, Price and Release Date Before September 16

30th Celebration: Every Product, Price and Release Date Before September 16

Every Region Opens Packs on the Same Day This Time

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration releases worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and it is the first Pokémon TCG set to launch in every region on the same day. No waiting weeks behind Japan, no staggered rollout. Everyone rips the anniversary set together.

We are twelve days out, every product and release date is confirmed, and preorders have been live since July. Here is the whole picture in one place.

What Is Actually in a Pack

Start with the thing that shapes every buying decision: packs will not be sold individually. Like all special sets, 30th Celebration boosters only come bundled inside products, so the product you pick is how you get your packs.

Each booster holds six foil cards, five foil cards plus one foil Basic Energy, and English packs add a Pokémon TCG Live code card. Every single card in the set is foil, not just the chase slots. The set runs to roughly 150 cards after secret rares.

Every pack also comes with a Pikachu. There are 30 different Pikachu cards, each illustrated by a different artist, with extra set numbering that tells you which of the 30 you pulled. One guaranteed per pack turns a single blister into a collecting project.

A Brand New Rarity, and 30 Classics Coming Back

The set introduces a rarity called the Futuristic rare, with artwork by renowned Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. Officially, each Futuristic rare depicts Pokémon in striking artwork "evocative of hope toward an unknown future," and Mewtwo ex and Mew ex were the first two shown.

Alongside those, 30 classic Pokémon cards return from across the game's history, each carrying a "30" Pikachu stamp and a special foil treatment. Worth knowing before you build around one: these reprints are not legal for tournament play. The set also features every single Legendary Pokémon, and its new cards depict Pokémon during different moments of daytime and nighttime, a day-and-night theme that runs through the products too.

The Classic Collection Packs

The 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections each include a special three-card Classic Collection booster pack. It is the first time an English set has had this kind of pack at all. Whether those Classic Collection cards also turn up in regular boosters as rare chase pulls has not been explicitly confirmed, so for now the UPC is the guaranteed route to them.

Preorders Have Been Live Since July

Pokémon Center opened preorders in two waves, both roughly two months ahead of release. The first, on July 15th, covered the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (limit 2), the Alolan Exeggutor and Lucario Tech Sticker Collections (limit 1 each), and the Knock Out Collection (limit 1).

The second wave followed on July 20th with the Mini Tin Display (limit 1) and the Booster Bundle (limit 3). Those purchase limits tell you how tight the allocations are.

Every Product and When It Lands

September 16th

  • Elite Trainer Box ($49.99): nine booster packs, one illustration rare-style promo featuring Nidorina, 16 foil Basic Energy cards, and the usual gameplay accessories. Nidorina is a deliberate pick, by the way. She is Pokémon #030 in the National Pokédex.
  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: eleven booster packs and two Nidorina promos, one with the Pokémon Center stamp and one without. The two extra packs and the stamped promo make it the upgrade pick if you can get one.
  • Poster Collection ($14.99): three packs, promo cards featuring Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, and a full-size two-sided poster of cards from the expansion.
  • Tech Sticker Collection ($14.99): three packs, one foil promo featuring Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, and a matching sticker sheet.
  • Pokémon ex Box ($21.99): four packs, one promo featuring Sylveon ex or Greninja ex, and the matching oversize card.
  • Knock Out Collection ($9.99): two packs, one foil Eevee promo, and a commemorative coin.
  • 2-Pack Blister ($9.99): two packs, one foil Eevee promo, and a commemorative coin.

October 2nd

  • Day & Night Mini Tins ($9.99): two packs, a sticker sheet, and an art card matching the tin. The best easter egg in the lineup lives here: the Unown across the tins spell out "ANNIVERSARY" when you put their artwork together.
  • Booster Bundle ($26.94): six packs, straight up. Since packs are never sold on their own, this is the closest thing to buying loose boosters of the set.

October 30th

  • Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks ($19.99 each): an all-foil 60-card deck led by Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, with a deck box, coin and playmat, plus an illustration rare-style Victini or Zeraora.

November 6th

  • Ultra-Premium Collections ($179.99): either Pikachu ex (day) with Espeon ex, or Pikachu ex (night) with Umbreon ex. Each brings 29 booster packs plus one three-card Classic Collection pack, a day or night themed playmat, sleeves, deck box and accessories.
  • Ditto Premium Collection ($39.99): a colorful acrylic display, a Ditto promo, and eight packs.
  • Mewtwo and Mew Figure Collections ($29.99): a foil promo and an oversize card featuring Mew or Mewtwo, a sculpted figure, and five packs.

December 4th

  • Binder Collection ($31.99): a 9-pocket portfolio with five packs. Originally set for October 2nd, TPCi quietly moved it to December 4th with no reason given.
  • Pokémon ex Tin ($21.99): four packs and one promo featuring Sylveon ex or Greninja ex.

The Short Version

September 16th is the launch, and it runs everywhere at once for the first time. October 2nd brings the cheap way in with tins and bundles, October 30th brings the Battle Decks, and the heavy hitters, the Ultra-Premium Collections with their Classic Collection packs, wait until November 6th. A single ex Tin closes it out on December 4th.

Thirty years, every card foil, a Pikachu in every pack, and one launch day for the whole world. Circle the 16th.
