The Pokémon TCG's 30th anniversary celebration keeps rolling. The First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 lands June 18, 2026, bringing nine new Illustration Rare starter promos across three classic regions.
Release Details
Each box retails at $14.99. The collections will be available at major retailers and through TCGplayer for preorder.
Johto Starters
Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile take their bow in panoramic artwork inspired by Gold and Silver, complete with autumn foliage echoing Ecruteak's Tin Tower and a callback to the legendary shiny Gyarados encounter.
Unova Starters
Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott appear against backdrops drawn from Black and White's urban Unova, with the trio's panoramic scene threading from Castelia through to Skyarrow Bridge.
Galar Starters
Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble close out Series 2 with a Galar-themed scene full of nods to Sword and Shield's regional landmarks.
The 30th Anniversary Stamp
All nine promos carry a special "30" Pikachu stamp, marking the franchise's 30th anniversary year. That stamp will likely matter for collectors who treat anniversary-marked variants as their own subcategory.
