The English Mega Evolution era keeps rolling. Chaos Rising lands May 22, 2026, with prereleases happening right now (May 9 through May 17). It's the next English expansion in the Mega Evolution block, and it brings five fresh Mega Evolution Pokémon ex to the table.
Release Details
Chaos Rising officially releases on May 22, 2026, with prereleases running May 9 through May 17. The set contains over 120 cards in total, including more than 20 trainer cards and 35+ special illustration cards.
The Mega Evolutions
The headline is Mega Greninja ex, the cover Pokémon. Its Mortal Shuriken ability spreads damage across the board, which sets up some real bench pressure.
The other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in Chaos Rising:
- Mega Pyroar ex: Big Bang attack deals nearly 290 damage
- Mega Floette ex: Eternity Bloom puts out heavy damage for a basic Mega Pokémon ex
- Mega Dragalge ex: Pernicious Poison hits for 16 damage per turn instead of the usual 1
- Mega Gallade ex
Both Mega Greninja ex and Mega Dragalge ex get special illustration rare treatment.
